Cold hand wash or occasional dry clean
Condition is excellent - there was some wrinkling to the lower sleeve that I’ve pressed out a bit but it will recur with wear
Shoulders - 37cm
Chest (under arm to under arm) - 49cm
Hip/hem - 48.5cm
Shoulder to under arm - 20cm
Upper arm - 15cm
I love the texture created by smocking and there’s a nice sheen to this top’s fabric which heightens the subtle ripple effect. It also has a little bit of bounce. It’s weighty enough to wear over a shirt; I also think it’s fine/light enough to tuck in, though you wouldn’t put it into a really fitted under layer as there’s a little bit of bulk to the reinforced hem. The marked size is a bit mysterious, except that the Alpha 60 silhouette does generally incorporate a bit of volume or over-sizedness. I really don’t think it’s extra extra small but please take care to compare the measurements to a top of your own, particularly those arm measurements and the hem line. I wanted to call this piece a shell top, though I think a shell top is sleeveless generally-speaking … It just has a shell top’s simplicity, elegance, easiness.
