Early Limoges flower
Solid vintage trinket dish with loose lid. (There is a blue tinge to these images - the base colours is white). Such a sweet blue flower - I can’t think what it is..?
Porcelain, made in France - hand-painted with minor gilding.
7cm diameter X 3.5cm height.
The base says ‘R. Delinières & Cie’, ‘Limoges’ … in tiny script. This could be an early 20th or even late 19th century pot but I am not confident to date this well.
Condition is fair. Some tiny holes on the inside lid are considered manufacturing flaws. The gilding is wearing and there is substantial marking on the base.
Please note this is one of the smaller trinket boxes - although bigger and less dainty than the other Limoges (refer to the image where the collection is shown together).
