Beautifully detailed bias-cut camisole with adjustable elastic straps

Made in Italy

Marked size IV

Please see measurements for sizing (and more detail below) … I believe it’s best for Aus 12 or M/L.

100% cotton (light and soft)

Cold hand wash

Condition is excellent … As new

When I did the sketch of this piece for measurements, it was a real pleasure to draw its seam lines. This is a lovely shaped layering camisole, and the print is gorgeous, too … a sort of soft cocoa base with sprinkles of pale turquoise blue and pale red.

Because it is cut on the bias, there is a sense of stretch including at the key seam points across the ribs and bust. The fact that the bodice is gently structured/shaped means that it will best suit someone with a bit of a bust. At the time of writing, I have 2 Marni camisoles of a similar size (though different in style) and both are marked in an unfamiliar way with what looks like “IV”… I thought it might be roman numerals … I’m now wondering if this might be a “one size” indicator. Is this camisole good for S/M/L ..? Almost. But I think S or petite M might find it a bit ‘gapey’ unless you are a busty S.

These measurements were taken with garment lying flat and the tape measure running straight across the front side only. It is best to compare with a similar garment of your own that fits you well, measured using the same technique.

Bust (under arm to under arm) - 47.5cm
Rib cage - approx 43cm
Hip/hem - 51cm
Length - 41.5cm
