New paru #4
One from a small series of soft fish. I call these Paru because there’s a French angelfish called Pomecanthus Paru and the juveniles are particularly cute.
Each fish here is a one-off, made from soft check ‘lungi’ cottons and some Japanese silk remnants. They are stuffed with their own waste and poly fill. At this stage I can’t swap the ribbon given to each fish but it’s not sewn in - you can remove or replace it.
The fish are a decorative item, made to hang on a wall or perch on a shelf.
There’s a little variation in size but they’re approx. 19cm (long) X 11cm (wide).
