***SOLD***

Vintage ‘jeans jacket’ by Lisa Ho. Soft velvet outer with quilted lining. Beautiful floral print. Cosy and sweet … I have taken off the front pockets and tabs and altered the sleeves to elbow-length … After buying the jacket for the features named, I kept looking at it and finding it a bit bulky-looking and also a bit ‘typical’, so I took off anything extraneous and went for the sleeve chop. I’m really happy with how it’s turned out.

Made in Australia

Marked size 14

A flexible size M/L - on the smaller side across ribs and waist so please check measurements below and compare with something well-fitting of your own

100% cotton outer, soft acetate lining

Short machine wash okay; occasional lukewarm hand wash recommended

Condition is excellent

Measurements (takes across the front, lying flat):
Shoulders: 43cm
Chest: 52cm
Torso: 45cm
Waist: 45cm
Upper arm: 21cm
Length: 55cm

Some further notes on the outcomes of the alterations - - - where I have removed the chest pockets, there are visible stitch-lines embossed in the velvet. This is pretty subtle and blends with remaining seam lines, but you’ll notice it when looking closely. As mentioned, I took tabs off but not their corresponding buttons because they’re rivet style. I decided to leave the sleeve cuts raw - for a soft look - but, just beyond the edges, I have reinforced and reinforced, including adding internal and external braids. Some little velvet tufts will continue to shed but it won’t fray and fray.
