Shining sun - made to order

The sun is the latest in a series of funny, moody and slightly unruly characters to come from my work table. It is made to hang on a wall or in a doorway or flop onto bed/sofa/cosy chair.
This ‘shining sun’ has been made from a beautiful light crisp textured silk. It is such a pleasure to work with silk - even when it is a single colour, it has so much life and radiance.
This sun is a little smaller and plumper than the ‘picture book sun’ - measuring 61cm hanging (including loop) or about 68cm X 68cm at full stretch. I can make the larger, slightly pointier version in yellow silk at an additional cost - enquiries/questions to milly.s.temp@gmail.com …
