Neat vintage blouse by Bernini in a creamy pale yellow. Lightly marked.
Made in Australia.
Marked size 12.
Fits like contemporary Aus size S, 8 or petite 10.
100% silk.
The tag suggests ‘dry clean only’ but a cool gentle hand wash will be fine.
Condition is very good overall. There is a series of little marks on the front at left, which were not visible to me until I gave the blouse an iron. When I spot washed the marks, they became less apparent but are still visible with close inspection.
MEASURED ACROSS THE FRONT, LYING FLAT:
SHOULDERS - 34.5CM
CHEST - 50.5CM
HEM/HIP - 50.5CM
UPPER ARM - 18CM
LENGTH - 61CM
The ‘vintage’ hallmarks of this blouse are the petite collar and cuffs, and the gathering at the wrists. It’s pretty and classic. Great with denim, and layered under Wintry hues - grey, black, navy, maroon, cream, tan etc.
